Mini Pre-Amplifier (KIT04S)

This mini microphone pre-amp is a simple, yet very effective circuit that increases the output level of a microphone.

To use an electret microphone with the pre-amp, connect a 56K resistor between the positive supply rail and the input. This will provide the necessary current to drive the electret''s on-board FET amplifier. A suitable electret microphone is available separately as Order Code AMQ60G.

The power supply should be regulated, between 9 and 15v DC.

Items NOT included in the kit, but available separately, are:
Electret microphone, AMQ60G.
Regulated 9V - 15V Power Supply or 9V PP3 Battery.
